Cachet London jewellery is delicate and handcrafted. The metal is plated, and each crystal and pearl is set individually, as a result special care is required to keep it clean and looking its best.
Cleaning.
Do not clean your jewellery in ultrasonic cleaners which can dislodge the crystals, you should clean with a dry cloth and if more cleaning is required then put some soap with warm water into your hands and gently clean one piece or earring at a time and rinse in hand warm water. Then pat dry in a clean cloth.
You should clean your Cachet Jewellery to avoid the build-up of acid and scent which can affect the crystals and plating.
Perfume and scent
Should always be applied before you put on your jewellery and if reapplied during the evening then your jewellery should be cleaned as above when you take it off.
Care of bracelets
You should not wear your Cachet bracelets next to watches or other metal bracelets as the harder metals will damage the plating and cause rapid wear.
Care of chain pendants
If your chain becomes tangled or knotted whatever you do, do not pull the chain as the links will become locked together. Lay your necklace flat on a table and with a pair of fine tweezers gradually loosen the knot to allow enough slack so that you can undo the knot.
Time and patience is needed but it will un-tangle.
Store your necklace with the clasp done up and if possible put the pendant into a small grip bag with the chain hanging out and then place in your Cachet Micro Fibre pouch.
Care of pearls
Cachet jewellery is made exclusively with Swarovski pearls but as with all pearls the coating is delicate. If you have stud earrings you can wash them in warm soapy water but of you have a knotted string then you should not submerge them. Instead use a damp, not wet, cloth to wipe them down and remove any chemicals or acid that may have accumulated through wear.

Storing your Cachet Jewellery
Each item of Cachet jewellery is supplied with a micro fibre pouch and when not in use you should store it in the pouch. This will prevent it from being damaged by other items and will keep it clean and dry.
